Testing bioinformatics programs poses a particular challenge because it is often hard to systematically verify the correctness of the output of a program due to the nature of bioinformatics programs. In the software testing fields, a number of effective methods have been developed to tackle this problem. In my talk, I will explain and discuss some of these state-of-the-art methods.
